General Information
Many companies are only interested in writing CD-R applications to archive files from a harddrive, which is why we created the much more affordable LITE version. Both versions support the same CDROM devices and include freely distributable ASPI drivers.
The library will work with any standard C++ compiler/linker that is compatible with Microsoft Visual C++ or Borland C++ Builder. Both 16-bit and 32-bit versions are included for developing DOS and Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP applications. The library is currently shipped as a static library (although a DLL may be offered in the future).
Updates to the library are free for one year (updates are mailed to all current customers approximately every three months).
To purchase any version of our library, you may be required to sign a licensing agreement.

License Descriptions
Full Version
Can be used to produce any freeware, shareware, or
commercial software. No royalty fees for each copy produced or
distributed. Free updates and support for one year. An additional year of
updates/support is available for a 50% discount off the original purchase
price. No source code in included except for the C++ headed files. Note: This version of the library is not available to anybody
who might be developing an application that would compete directly with
our own CDROM recording software.
Lite Version
Can be used to produce any freeware,
shareware, or commercial software. No royalty fees for each copy produced
or distributed. Free updates and support for one year. An additional year
of updates/support is available for a 50% discount off the original
purchase price. No source code is included except for the C++ header
files.
Source Code
The complete source code for the library is
included. All of the code was written by one developer, so it is very
clean, consistantly written, and well commented. You can evaluate the
quality of the source code by downloading the module that is used to build
ISO9660 image files (click here). All of the
other modules are of similar quality.
